Prawn Noodles


(Chow Mein (Chop Suey) & Egg Noodles are equally suitable for this recipe.)


  • 400g Fresh Egg Noodle
  • 100g uncooked Prawns
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoons cornflour
  • 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 3 spring onions, cut into 2-5cm lengths.


  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons of dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


  • Mix prawns with egg white and corn flour
  • Heat the oil in a wok, add prawns, soy sauce, wine and sugar and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Loosen the Fresh Egg Noodle or Shanghai Noodle. Add the Noodle to the wok and mix well. Fry for 2-3 minutes with sesame oil
